Flawless Every Day Makeup Routine for Fair Skin

Finding the perfect everyday makeup routine is something that I am always working on. With my fair skin and red hair, it's hard to find products that work. After trying so many different brands and shades, I have found a few tried and true products!

The Foundation

To prep my skin, I start with the Saie Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Iluminator in the shade Starglow. I apply this only to the areas that I want a little shine under a matte foundation.

I have a few different foundations that I switch between depending on what type of look I'm going for!

Lightweight/ Casual: COMPLEXION RESCUE Tinted Moisturizer with Hyaluronic Acid and Mineral SPF 30 in shade opal 01
Casual/ Medium Coverage: Super Stay Up to 30HR Wear Lumi-Matte Longwear Foundation in shade 102
Full Coverage/ Glam: Teint Idole Ultra Wear 24H Full Coverage Foundation in shade 09N. Lancôme recently gifted me this foundation, and it reminded me how much I love it! I used to use it a few years ago, and I don't know why I stopped!

Concealer: I have tried so many different brands, and I always come back to Tarte Shape Tape in the shade 8B! I apply this under my eyes and through my T-zone. I apply in these areas to brighten up the T zone and blend my foundation shade a little more true to my skin tone if I am not wearing self-tanner.

Creams

Cream products can be tricky with fair skin because the shades can blend out muddy if the consistency of the products is off. The best cream blush and bronzer that I have found is DIBS! I have two DIBS sticks that I switch back and forth between depending on my mood.

Setting the Foundation

After applying all of my creams, I set with powders. My skin tends to lean more oily, especially with the southern humidity. If you have more dry skin, I would suggest skipping these!

Eyes

For brows, I either use a clear brow gel on light makeup days, or a tinted gel for more full coverage looks.

Mascara has been a product that I have searched for a while for to find my favorite. I have a few that I go between, but right now my favorite is the Tarte Tubing Mascara. For the bottom, I rarely wear any just to prevent fallout on my under eyes. If I do wear bottom mascara, I wear Better Than Sex mascara in shade Chocolate! On light makeup days, I will wear this one just on the top lashes. I always prep my lashes with the Lancome Cils Booster XL Vitamin-Infused Lash Thickening Mascara Primer.

Lips

My all-time favorite lip liner is one that I have used for years: MAC Lip Liner pencil in shade Soar. For lipstick and gloss, I just use whatever I grab out of my makeup bag first!
