Decorating for Valentine's Day has never been something I took too seriously, which is pretty shocking if you consider my love for all things pink and girly.
This year once I took down all of our Christmas decorations, our house felt so bare. So I decided to decorate for Valentine's Day! This ended up working out perfectly because one of our Christmas gatherings was delayed until January 20th, so instead of leaving up all of our Christmas decor, it was fun to do something a little different and have a Valentine's Day-themed brunch!
After spending a few hours scrolling through Pinterest for inspiration, Amazon for the best craft deals, and Target for the cutest decorations, my vision came to life! This was my first time going all out on a holiday tablescape, and I love how it turned out!
Table Scape Details
When I was scrolling through Pinterest for inspiration, I found an adorable painted table runner, and I knew I had to recreate it! This was such an easy project with such a big payoff! All it took was a roll of craft paper and acrylic paint!
I also loved how cute this pipe cleaner garland looked on Pinterest, so I recreated it to hang along the windows! This was such an affordable craft and would be so much fun to do with small children or in a classroom setting!
When it comes to affordable dinnerwear, Target is one of my favorite places to shop! They always have the cutest seasonal pieces under $5 a piece. These heart-shaped bowls, printed plates, and pink glasses were all $3 a piece and so cute! They are also all plastic, so I do not have to stress about breakable pieces!
Party Set Up
If you are planning on hosting your own Valentine's or Galentine's Day-themed party, here is a little inspiration from how I set up my table for the party!
This was such an easy tablescape to set up! I grabbed a bag of caramel popcorn, conversation hearts, and nerd clusters and scattered them along the table runner! Finally, placing the goodie bags on the table added more height to the table as well as color and texture!
