Recently I stumbled across the brand The Boss Babes Co and instantly fell in love. This brand embodies the same mission that I, as a Gamma Phi, hold dearly. Boss Babes works to create a community for women everywhere. Every product from this brand serves as a reminder to empower each other as women!
If you ask any Gamma Phi Beta woman what "Building Strong Girls" means to them, you will get many different answers. But all of these answers will have one thing in common. The act of inspiring girls and women through service and words of encouragement. Building Strong Girls is the mission of Gamma Phi Beta, and something I strive to do every day.
I try to reflect our mission through my conversations with Gamma Phi collegians in my role as Moonball Specialist on the International Philanthropy team and as Public Relations advisor for my home chapter. I also strive to live out this motto in other aspects of my life.
In the day to day life, I make sure that all of my actions and words reflect those of light. The world is filled with so much negativity, so why would you want to put more clutter out there? This all reminds me of my favorite Bible verses, Matthew 5:16.
"So don't hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16 TPT
This verse serves as a constant reminder to be a source of goodness, joy, and positivity for those around you! Happiness is contagious, and right now the world needs something a little bit more friendly that's contagious... I would love to hear how you all live out missions in your day to day life!
