As you can tell from the title, I took my first influencer course, How to Make Money As An Influencer, through LadyBossBlogger. The course is presented by an influencer, blogger, and entrepreneur, Elaine Rau!
I knew when I started Just Gingerly I wanted it to be different than my first time blogging. I blogged for two years with no success. I found myself growing to hate blogging because of it. In order to make Just Gingerly successful, I knew I would have to make an investment in my brand and go all in.
About The Course
The goal of this course is to teach you new habits and routines that help you grow not only your social media but your blog as well! What I’ve Learned
The lesson that I found the most helpful was finding and working with brands. Starting out as an influencer, it can be overwhelming to find trustworthy brand opportunities. It can be hard to distinguish a scam from something legit when you have no background in working with brands. This course has countless lists of brands, websites, and affiliate programs that are legit and proven successful, right at your fingertips. This was something I was not expecting to get out of taking this course!
I also found the lessons on legal information to be extremely helpful. The idea of having to work my way through brand contracts and taxes is intimidating. This course explains FTC laws in a way that is easy to understand. I also loved how common terms related to affiliate marketing were listed out and defined! Elaine also breaks down how to keep up with your taxes and includes excel spreadsheets to make it even easier!
There was so much content throughout the course that I wasn’t even expecting to learn about! The sheer amount of information was overwhelming at first, but once you understand the layout, it was really easy to read and understand!
After taking this course, I am so thankful for all of the information that I learned and I can’t wait to apply it to Just Gingerly. Growing your own personal brand is not only a financial investment but an investment in yourself!
